Compressus Drives Programmable Workflow And Unprecedented Flexibility With Introduction of MEDxConnect™ v4.0

CHICAGO, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Compressus today introduced the next generation of its suite of healthcare interoperability and workflow solutions with the release of the MEDxConnect™ System v4.0. Focused on redefining medical imaging interoperability, the new release features a highly flexible platform that empowers users to implement custom healthcare information solutions to meet ever-changing market challenges. Building on Compressus' proven solutions for the movement, prioritization and routing of patient data and image sets, MEDxConnect v4.0, which will be available in the first half of 2012, features tight integration of several IBM WebSphere suite of software solutions to creating a flexible platform offering intuitive programmable drag and drop workflow with unprecedented flexibility.

Enhancing Compressus' commitment to improving patient safety, the new offering highlights IBM Initiate Patient, the gold standard in patient matching, integrated into the MEDxConnect platform.

Enhancements to improve patient matching will include probabilistic and cultural name matching, as well as configurable confidence thresholds and conflict resolution capabilities.
