 500 Constellation Energy Group (NYSE:   CEG) into two publicly traded
 corporations will be webcast at 1:15 p.m. EDT Wednesday, April 4 from the
 Salomon Smith Barney Power & Merchant Energy Conference 2001 in New York City.

 companies mid-to-late this year to focus exclusively on the North American
 wholesale energy market, and regional retail energy services in Maryland and
 the surrounding region.
     Constellation Energy Group is a holding company that includes of group of
 competitive energy businesses focused mostly on power marketing and merchant
 generation in North America, plus Baltimore Gas and Electric, a regulated
 energy delivery company in Central Maryland.  In 2000, combined revenues
