Crary Buchanan Joins the City of Port St. Lucie, Jetson and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for Annual 9-11 Blood Drive

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Crary Buchanan, one of the oldest law firms on the Treasure Coast, will pay tribute to the lives lost on 9-11 with its annual memorial blood drive. This year, the firm will partner with the Palm Beach Area chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Jetson, and the City of Port St. Lucie.

The drive is part of the city's annual 9-11 art exhibit and tribute, which will include a reading of the names individuals who lost their lives in the attack. A section of a beam from a World Trade Center tower sits in a memorial at the center.

Mike Crary, managing partner at Crary Buchanan, is a long-time blood donor and participant in the "Honor a Hero" drive. "I can think of no better place or memorial ceremony for the blood drive," he said. "Our blood drive will contribute to the tribute." In his lifetime, Mike has donated seven gallons of blood.

At the drive, staff and attorneys from Crary Buchanan will join volunteers from Seacoast National Bank. Their contribution to the drive will be donated to OneBlood. Crary Buchanan has saved more than 3,000 lives, surpassing the number of lives lost in 9-11.
