CSC and Alenia Marconi Systems Sign Outsourcing Agreement For United Kingdom IT Operations

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation
 (NYSE:   CSC) and Alenia Marconi Systems Limited (AMS) today announced that they
 have entered into a multimillion-dollar, six-year information technology (IT)
 outsourcing agreement that will enable a significant reduction in IT service
 costs for AMS's United Kingdom operations.  All AMS employees within the UK
 involved in the delivery of IT services have transferred to CSC.
     Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will manage desktop computing, help
 desks, midrange services, application management, procurement and LAN network
 services.  CSC will also provide professional services for the implementation
 of SAP across AMS's UK operations.
