Cyclopss Announces New Laboratory Sanitizing Technology

Apr 30, 2001, 01:00 ET from Cyclopss Corporation

SALT LAKE CITY, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- CYCLOPSS Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: OZON) Announced today it will be installing its first
STER-O3-ZONE(TM) Laboratory Cart Sanitizer System at Nelson Laboratories in
 Salt Lake City, Utah.
The new Ster-O-Zone System has been designed to sanitize carts used in
laboratories doing microbial testing on foods, food packaging, filtration
systems, pharmaceuticals, sterile packaging, and the validation of
disinfection and sterility processes used in health care and industry.
Nelson Labs, who will also be compiling the validation and efficacy data
on the Ster-O-Zone, is a nationally accredited independent testing laboratory
that employs over 120 people and occupies a 38,000 square foot facility
contracting testing services to major medical and pharmaceutical companies
 world wide.
The Ster-O-Zone Cart Sanitizer replaces the traditional high-pressure
steam vessels requiring significant energy creating heat and pressure, with a
low-pressure system using humidified ozone gas as the sanitizing agent. After
a short processing cycle the ozone is converted back into harmless oxygen and
released, eliminating the current requirement for venting the extreme heat
generated by steam and the wait time while the carts cool down before use.
The short cycle time allows for higher throughput. Furthermore, the
self-contained unit has a smaller footprint and is a far less complicated
installation than traditional cart sanitizing systems.
Dr. Durand Smith, Director of R&D, Cyclopss says, "We couldn't have hoped
for a more respected first customer than Nelson Laboratories, their stature
within the laboratory community will certainly bring immediate attention and
credibility to the Ster-O-Zone product." Management stated they expect the
manufacture and installation to be completed by late July or early August
 2001.

CYCLOPSS is a world leader in the development of environmentally friendly
ozone technologies and applications that are used in the cleaning and
disinfection of foods, laundry and surfaces for industry, as well as
 consumers.
