LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Independent dance music label Dauman Music is showing off a lot of fancy footwork this fall, with one of its signed artists, actress & MAXIM Covergirl Joanna Krupa, who debuts this week as a contestant on Season 9 of ABC-TV's "Dancing With The Stars"; the label is currently enjoying chart success with two hits on Billboard's Dance/Club Play chart.
As Krupa, half of the duo Manon and Krupa, gears up for the release of an explosive new spin on The Spinners' classic "I'll Be Around," the company--whose tracks are distributed by Federal Distribution in association with Universal Music Group--is celebrating two currently charting Billboard Dance/Club Play hits: "Give Me Tonight" by TR featuring American Idol alum Frenchie Davis (currently at #21), and June 2009 Playboy Magazine cover girl America Olivo's "Deja vu," which is currently at #36.
Label CEO Jason Dauman is also pleased to announce an exciting series of upcoming dance single releases, beginning with "Can You Feel It" by Tony nominated actress Daphne Rubin Vega, who originated the role of Mimi in the hit Broadway musical Rent. Other new Dauman releases include: "Overload" by Carmen Perez, the Future Freaks remixed follow-up to her Billboard charting hit "Emergency," which went Top Ten on the UK Music Week Commercial Pop Chart; young breakthrough female singer Henri, who follows her Top Ten Billboard Club hit "Some Girls" with "I Want To Be Your Baby," which she co-penned with superstar songwriter Margie Hauser.
Dance fans can also expect a new single from model/vocalist Jackie Siebert, a onetime member of Jakaranda, which was signed to Mariah Carey's Sony imprint Crave. Siebert recently appeared on the TV Land series "She's Got The Look 2".
Dauman is also excited about the teenage duo "Josh and JB," who star in the hit syndicated TV show "Josh and JB In the Industry," which enjoys a large U.S. Following and airs several times a week on the UK based SKY TV network and in 19 other European countries. He has also inked actor & singer Sam Sarpong, who will be appearing as Teshon Riley on the hit Fox show "24" this coming season
On the international front, Dauman will be releasing tracks by a young Irish singer named Maggie McCarthy, who was personally invited by President Obama to perform a private concert at the White House. Rounding out the International roster is Canadian singer Tiffany Desrosieros, the first runner up on David Foster's Canadian TV show Star Search; and Russian pop superstar George Hodos, teaming up with the hit production duo The Alumni.
