David P. Murphy Named President of Sales for Novus Media Network

NEW YORK, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- David P. Murphy has been named President of Sales for the Novus Media Network, Brian Burke, Novus CEO, announced today.

Murphy joins Novus from the Denver Newspaper Agency, where he had been General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer since 2008. Previously, Murphy was with the Tribune Company as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Los Angeles Times Media Group.

The appointment, effective immediately, includes responsibility for developing Novus' business development efforts. As part of this charge, Murphy will be responsible for growing print and digital offerings while increasing client value. He also will be tasked with building partnerships with media as well as digital and print sales channels.
