Apr 10, 2001, 01:00 ET from dbDoctor, Inc.

SUPERIOR, Colo., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- dbDoctor, Inc., a leading
provider and pioneer of state-of-the-art database monitoring and assessment
services, today announces the addition of a seasoned chief executive officer,
Vandy Van Wagener. The Company also announced the appointment of Michael
Misheff as vice president of sales and marketing, as well as the addition of
seasoned SBVC entrepreneur, Jim LeJeal, to its board of directors.
dbDoctor closed its first-round of funding by SBVC in December 2000, and
moved into the firm's new early-stage company facility, HOTBANK Colorado, in
January. About the strengthened dbDoctor leadership, Bradley Feld, principal
managing director of SBVC and dbDoctor board member said, "A strong executive
management team is at the center of every successful business. It is
particularly important at a company's early stages. I couldn't be more
thrilled to have Vandy, Mike and Jim on board."
Van Wagener brings extensive executive leadership skills and global
marketing savvy to the company based on a unique blend of experience -- both
in corporate and start-up environments, as well as domestically and
internationally. He built his early career at Procter & Gamble in marketing
and general management, leading to an 8 year stint as VP of new country and
category operations in Asia. In 1997, he chose to jump to the emerging
start-up world of technology. As former CEO of Denver-based Infobeat, and a
director/advisor to early stage Internet and mature "brick-and-mortar"
companies around the United States, Van Wagener is well prepared to lead
dbDoctor into a successful future. He holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School,
and a BA from Dartmouth College in mathematics.
Misheff brings 25 years of diversified experience in tech sales, marketing
and operations to his role as vice president of sales and marketing. His
focus for the past decade has been in the broadband communications industry,
having held senior positions with COM21 and Motorola among others. Misheff
has consistently demonstrated outstanding results in strategic selling,
building sales organizations, customer service and operations. He has a
degree in Mass Communications and Journalism Law from Bowling Green State
 University.
LeJeal is an inveterate entrepreneur having founded multiple companies in
the Colorado area. He was co-founder of Link-VTC (which was acquired by
ConferTech) and of Evoke (NASDAQ) -- where he also served as chief operating
officer and chief financial officer. Based on his startup and board
experience, he brings deep knowledge of what it takes to succeed in emerging
markets -- including strategic focus, organization development and financing.
LeJeal graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with distinction and
has an MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
