Delta Air Lines to Sponsor Third Annual Supplier Diversity Procurement Exchange in New York

    ATLANTA, April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:   DAL) will sponsor
 the Third Annual Supplier Diversity Procurement Exchange, May 2 and 3, 2001,
 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, LaGuardia Airport.  This two-day event will be
 presented in partnership with JFK International Air Terminal (JFK IAT), the
 private management team developing Terminal 4 expansion at New York's John F.
 Kennedy Airport.  In this collaborative effort, Delta and JFK IAT will
 identify small, minority and women-owned businesses (MWBEs) eligible to bid on
 the $1.6 billion terminal expansion and redevelopment project.
     The session will include a networking reception, an overview of Delta's
 supply chain organization and diversity initiatives and an update on the JFK
 IAT project.  There is no cost to attend the exchange.

 quality products and services in support of the JFK expansion project, as well
 as other Delta projects.  Local MWBEs have participated in all aspects of the
 current Terminal 4 expansion, including design, construction and maintenance
 of the new building.

 and organizations such as the Women's Business Enterprise National Council
 (WBENC), Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Native American Business
 Alliance and the Asian Business Association.
