    ATLANTA, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:   DAL) and Delta
 Express, Delta's low-fare airline, today introduce spring sale fares for
 travel to worldwide destinations.  Tickets are on sale at the special fares
 through May 11, 2001.
     Customers who purchase the sale fares through Delta's Web site, delta.com,
 will receive an extra 10 percent off each round-trip purchase and are eligible
 for up to 7,500 bonus miles.  The three SkyMiles bonuses only available at
 delta.com are:
 
     *  1,000 round-trip bonus miles -- Customers earn a SkyMiles bonus of
        1,000 miles for each round trip or 500 miles each way for each ticket
        purchased at delta.com .
     *  Special 2,500 one-time bonus miles -- Between April 30 and May 11,
        2001, customers purchasing round-trip tickets at delta.com for travel
        completed by June 14, 2001, receive an extra, one-time 2,500-mile
        bonus.
     *  4,000 bonus miles for first-time purchase -- Customers making their
        first-time purchase at delta.com between April 30 and June 30, 2001
        will receive 4,000 bonus miles.  Travel must be complete by June 30,
        2001.
 
     The fares are good for travel to be completed by June 14, 2001 within the
 United States, as well as to/from Canada and the Caribbean.  Return travel for
