Auction Offers Opportunity to Join Lynn Swann on Sideline

    ATLANTA, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:   DAL) and Lynn
 Swann, former Pittsburgh Steeler receiver and SuperBowl MVP, are teaming up to
 show children how to focus, stay driven and reach their goals.  Swann is a
 National Board Member and the National Spokesman for Delta's second Charity of
 the Quarter for 2001, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA), the
 nation's oldest and largest youth mentoring program.
     SkyWish will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters in two ways:
     *  In the next "More For Your Miles" auction, Delta will offer a chance to
        watch a NCAA football game from the sideline with sportscaster and
        BBBSA spokesman, Lynn Swann.  All miles from the winning bid will be
        donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.  The minimum bid is
        250,000 miles. Additional auction information will be available at
        delta.com/auction in late April.
     *  SkyMiles members may also donate miles to Big Brothers Big Sisters via
        SkyWish between April 1, 2001, and June 30, 2001.  There is a 5,000-
        mile minimum donation and Delta will boost each donation by adding
        1,000 miles for every 5,000 miles contributed.
