 Telekom AG (NYSE:   DT) today announced that it will release full-year 2000 and
 preliminary first quarter financial results on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 before
 the market opens.  Following the release, Dr. Ron Sommer, CEO, and
 Dr. Karl-Gerhard Eick, CFO, will hold a meeting with analysts to discuss the
 results.
     The analysts' meeting will be broadcast live over the Internet.  To access
