DFWIMA Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards to Honor Local Companies

    DALLAS, April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dallas/Fort Worth Interactive
 Marketing Association (DFWIMA) Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards will
 be held Wednesday, April 11, 2001 from 7-10 p.m. at The Dallas World Aquarium
 (1801 N. Griffin).  Katie Pruett, host of KRLD 1080's "Eye on the Internet",
 will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
     The Excellence in Interactive Marketing awards program was developed to
 recognize creativity, innovation and noteworthy results of interactive
 campaigns that are being developed by individuals and companies throughout the
 Metroplex.  The awards give professionals in the Metroplex an opportunity to
 showcase their best practices while sharing them for the benefit of others.
 Entries are judged by a panel of industry experts and the media.  Awards will
 be presented in the following categories:
 
     -- Best Use of Online Creative
     -- Most Effective E-mail Campaign
     -- Best Viral Marketing Program
     -- Most Effective Customer Acquisition Promotion
     -- Most Effective Customer Retention Promotion
     -- Best Online Media Strategy
     -- Best Integrated Marketing Campaign
     -- Gone But Not Forgotten Award
     -- Best Interactive Marketer -- Client Side
     -- Best Interactive Marketing Services -- Agency
 
     The event attendance fee is $40 for DFWIMA members and $50 for non-members
 and includes aquarium admission and tour, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, dinner and
 evening entertainment.  Corporate table sponsorships, which include 10 passes
 and promotional exposure, are also available for $1,000.  Annual memberships
