New Position Reflects Company's Continued Focus on Enterprise Customers

    CHICAGO, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- DigitalWork, Inc., the leader in
 seamlessly integrating online partners, vendors and customers, today announced
 the promotion of John Banta to chief operating officer from senior vice
 president of corporate development.  In his new position, Banta is responsible
 for managing all day-to-day operating activities including: marketing, sales,
 customer operations and information technology.

     Banta has specialized in business development and finance throughout his
 career.  Prior to joining DigitalWork in 1999, Banta served as vice president
 of corporate services for PaineWebber's Chicago Asset Consulting Group.  He
 has also held management positions with firms such as Bear Stearns & Co and
 Lehman Brothers, and has served as principal in several successful
 entrepreneurial ventures.  Banta's expertise has allowed him the opportunity
 to author numerous articles on investment management and entrepreneurism in
 publications such as Profit Sharing Magazine, Institutional Investor, Trust
 and Regulatory News and Chicago Lawyer.
     Banta holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of
 Illinois, and a master's degree in business administration from the University
