"ActivEdge enables messaging services over next-generation Internet
protocol (IP) networks and the existing public switch telephone network
(PSTN). It provides high value applications such as voice mail and unified
messaging and offers our customers enhanced services including voice-activated
e-mail and the I-account, IPeria's user interface," said Mike Katz, vice
president of product management, IPeria. "We looked at several information
storage providers and chose Dot Hill based on its reliable, survivable, SANnet
product. SANnet's NEBS Level 3 certification and superior architecture were
key factors in our selection of an OEM partner. It was equally important to
us that Dot Hill received VERITAS Cluster Server certification on Sun
 Solaris(TM) operating systems."
Richard Search, Dot Hill senior vice president of marketing and product
management, said, "We are very pleased that IPeria chose Dot Hill as its
storage partner. One of our strategic initiatives is to create a more focused
OEM business model that's responsive to our OEM customer requirements while
increasing the market acceptance of SANnet technology. IPeria's selection of
Dot Hill's SANnet storage solutions is one example that shows we are executing
our plan successfully. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial
relationship with IPeria and our other OEM partners."
