BALTIMORE, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Dot Hill Systems Corp. (NYSE: HIL), a

solutions, will demonstrate four of its latest SANnet solutions in booth
number 757 at ISPCON Spring 2001, being held at the Baltimore Convention

The first SANnet solution to be demonstrated by Dot Hill is a twenty-bay
full Fibre Channel SANnet 7128 that simulates a web-hosting environment. This
low-cost, easy to use, direct-connect SAN is ideal for customers with
applications that utilize rack optimized servers and require a small
 footprint. A carrier-class SCSI-to-SCSI, 48 volt, DC powered SANnet 3220
solution will also be on display, and shows a SAN that is commonly used in
telco environments requiring NEBS Level-3 certification.
Additional SANnet solutions to be exhibited provide examples of Dot Hill's
Highly Available (HA) storage solutions. The first solution showcases an
 eighty-bay SANnet 7124 with Dot Hill's HA Fabric SAN. Two Brocade(R) 16-port
SAN switches are installed in the SANnet with additional switch capacity
available. SANPoint Control(TM), the SAN management software from VERITAS(R),
will be operating to show the capabilities of Dot Hill's SANnet solution
management station. An additional example demonstrates a ten-bay HA SAN 3220
controlled by Dot Hill's SANscape(TM) and SANpath(TM) software, allowing
customers a simple entry-level storage solution.
Also highlighted in the booth is a presentation on the Motorola HA-SAN
server and storage platform, which utilizes the Dot Hill SANnet 7128. This
solution is developed and sold by Motorola Computer Group for their
 telecommunications customers.
