 announced today that it will present a live broadcast over the Internet of its
 fourth-quarter conference call with securities analysts at 10 a.m. EDT
 Tuesday, May 1, 2001.
     Earthgrains Chief Financial Officer Mark H. Krieger, Treasurer Michael A.
 Salamone, and Vice President of Investor Relations Molly R. Salky will conduct
