ANNAPOLIS, Md., June 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EB-5 WorldWide, Inc., an Annapolis, Maryland-based EB-5 Regional Center marketing group, announced today that its affiliate, Midwestern Investments for America, LLC (MIFA) has received authorization from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as an approved Regional Center under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa program.
The EB-5 visa program allows qualified foreign nationals to receive U.S. permanent resident status by investing a minimum of $500,000 into an approved project that creates or preserves at least 10 jobs per investor within two years of such investor's entry into the United States.
In addition to Midwestern Investments for America, EB-5 WorldWide operates two other USCIS-approved Regional Centers in the Mid-Atlantic region: Oriental Dolphins Investments, LLC (ODI) and American National Immigration and Education Center, LLC (AMNIEC).
EB-5 WorldWide estimates that the combined geographic territories of MIFA, ODI and AMNIEC allow EB-5 WorldWide to offer foreign investors qualified EB-5 investment opportunities throughout the National Capital Region and greater Mid-Atlantic states, including Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia, and parts of Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
EB-5 WorldWide partners with local, regional and national developers to offer foreign investors a broad range of commercial real estate development projects including multi-family apartments, student housing, government and office buildings, medical facilities, hotels, assisted living facilities, and more. EB-5 WorldWide supports real estate developers with a full menu of services that optimize commercial projects to receive EB-5 financing. These services include transaction identification, structure, documentation, marketing and investor-related services.
"MIFA's recent approval enables our firm to further its mission of bringing accessible, safe investment to communities that merit revitalization throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, and to enable foreign entrepreneurs and their families to pursue the American Dream," says M. Kate Weaver, Senior Vice President of EB-5 WorldWide, Inc. In addition to her EB-5 related responsibilities, Ms. Weaver serves as president of Fifth Management and Consulting, which manages a number of affordable housing complexes in the Mid-Atlantic region.
