EDF Selects InStep's PRiSM Online Condition Monitoring Software

CHICAGO, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- InStep Software LLC, a leading provider of real-time software products and solutions, today announced that EDF Group, one of the world's major electricity producers, has licensed InStep's PRiSM software for online asset health monitoring.

InStep's PRiSM software will monitor EDF's insular gas turbines to provide early warning equipment failure identification, performance monitoring and problem analysis. PRiSM uses sophisticated data mining and pattern recognition technology for real-time early identification of equipment problems that can often lead to unexpected downtime or efficiency losses.
