PITTSBURGH, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- InventHelp's INPEX® is pleased to announce that the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) will conduct a product review on June 18, 2010 at INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Show. ERA is the trade association whose members are well-known for Direct Response Television (DRTV) products like The Snuggie™, P90X®, Oxiclean®, Bowflex®, Tony Little's Ab Isolator®, Total Gym®, MagicJack™ and Topsy Turvy®.
The product review at INPEX® will function as a search for potential inclusion at the InventHelp®-INPEX® New Product Showcase at the ERA D2C Convention in Las Vegas, September 21-23, 2010. According to Karen Hyman, Founder and CEO of Live Link TV, a marketing company that provides customized service, opening doors and creating selling strategies for products on QVC, "At least half a dozen inventors received direct response marketing deals for their inventions following last year's New Product Showcase." ERA's product review at INPEX® is a pre-qualifying event to the September showcase, which will offer exposure to ERA members such as QVC, Guthy-Renker and Livemercial.
Several direct response companies have already begun maneuvering to have a first shot at access to the inventors from the New Product Showcase. Hyman stated, "As a panelist who reviewed the inventions at last year's New Product Showcase, I personally found a dozen products that I was able to present to QVC. ERA's product review at INPEX® has become an important 'first look' at what could be the next big DRTV product."
At INPEX® 2010, an ERA panel of direct marketers will meet individually with inventors who feel they have a product that would be a good fit for direct response television. The ERA panel will select as many appropriate inventions as they feel meet criteria for DRTV promotion. Inventors who are chosen will be invited to exhibit at the InventHelp®-INPEX® New Product Showcase in September. This will be the second year in a row that InventHelp® will partner with ERA to produce the New Product Showcase.
The ERA panel at INPEX® 2010 will consist of:
Karen Hyman: The founder and CEO of Live Link TV, a DRTV firm that provides services to both corporate clients and individual inventors.
Michael Planit: President of Product Strategies, Inc. Michael has developed and consulted on numerous consumer products in categories including household, hardware, skincare and novelty products.
Jarrod Bentley: Currently the Director of Marketing and Production for Savvier Inc., a Direct Response product company in Carlsbad, CA.
Rob Woodrooffe: Served on the Board of Directors of the Electronic Retailing Association. In 1994, Rob was chosen as the Direct Marketer of the Year by the Canadian Marketing Association.
Jeff Meltzer: Founder of Meltzer Media Productions. Since the mid–nineties, Meltzer Media Productions has produced and consulted on over 2000 direct response TV and radio campaigns.
