PROVO, Utah, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- ELLIS, English Language Learning
Instruction System (OTC Bulletin Board: ELLG), a leading provider of English
language training software, was selected by the Department of Education and
Employment and the University of Industry in Great Britain to produce a
British English version of their world-renowned multimedia program. The
product, which was created and filmed in London and Cambridge, is now being
implemented in approximately 1,000 adult education centers throughout the
 United Kingdom.
With the English Language Learning Instruction System (ELLIS), users can
watch, listen, and interact while they learn British English for real life
situations. Each lesson teaches vocabulary and grammar using full multimedia,
interactive programming. Users can also learn about British culture with the
new program, providing insight and understanding of their environment. A
workbook is provided to give each user the chance to apply the knowledge
they've learned. ELLIS has individualized the lessons enough so that each
user can learn at their own pace.
"When we first met with representatives from the British Government, they
commented on how ELLIS was the best program they'd seen," said Tim Otto,
President and CEO of ELLIS. "Their only concern was that ELLIS was full of
Yanks. We're privileged to have had an opportunity to work directly with the
Department of Education and Employment and the University of Industry to build
a British version of ELLIS that meets their specific English training needs."
