    ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Evoke Communications(TM)
(Nasdaq: EVOK), a leading provider of virtual meeting services, today
announced the launch of Evoke Collaboration 4.5. This interactive,
collaborative meeting tool now includes enhanced application sharing, supports
Flash 4.0 during Web Touring and requires no downloads or plug-ins for use.
Evoke Collaboration 4.5 raises the standards for Web-based virtual meetings by
offering the ability to collaborate online with 100% Java functionality and
high-end features such as enhanced application sharing with remote control.
"The launch of Evoke Collaboration 4.5 is significant because we are
offering several features that address the needs of traditional business
customers as well as enterprise MIS managers," said Todd Vernon co-founder and
CTO of Evoke Communications. "By utilizing a 100% Java client, virtual
meeting participants do not have to download any software or browser plug-ins.
In addition, our customers can now Web Tour and share sound from Flash-enabled
sites and interactively share applications among all participants."
Evoke Collaboration functions across multiple platforms and enables
moderators to publish a portion or their entire desktop to all other
conference participants. With this newest release, enhanced application
sharing allows participants to receive control of the moderator or
co-moderator's desktop during a presentation. Conference participants can
request control and subsequently edit documents and manipulate applications in
 real-time.
In addition to enhanced application sharing, Evoke Collaboration 4.5 meets
the scalability, customization and feature requirements necessary to
successfully host thousands of simultaneous participants in a single online
event. Evoke Collaboration 4.5 users can do everything from lead a tour of
their company's new Flash-enabled Web site to execute participant polls. Poll
results can immediately be displayed on a bar chart within the application.

     Evoke Collaboration's latest features include:

-- Enhanced application sharing with remote control -- enables users to
share desktop applications and pass control of a desktop to meeting
         participants or co-moderators
-- Flash 4.0 Support -- Web Tour and share sound from Flash-enabled sites
-- Improved JavaScript Support -- deploys a technology that can overcome
the demands of JavaScript to allow users to conduct "follow me" Web
tours to JavaScript-enabled Internet or Intranet sites
-- Enhanced online help -- HTML-based customer support is built into the
         application

Evoke Collaboration's standard service features include online
whiteboarding, Web touring, real-time polling, interactive text chat and
recording of live presentations with audio. The collaboration server platform
runs on Microsoft Windows NT/2000, Unix, and Linux operating systems and
moderators and participants can attend events using any java-enabled browser
 on any major platform.
