Quilt Collection to honor people whose lives have been affected by breast
cancer. The quilt collection is being created in conjunction with the
company's annual Precious Moments Care-A-Van tour. From April to December,
the Care-A-Van will travel coast to coast to collect quilt squares and
showcase one of the world's most popular collectibles.
"We created the Precious Moments quilt collection so that the millions of
Americans whose lives have been touched by breast cancer can make an enduring
tribute to their loved ones," says Rachel Perkal, vice president and general
manager of Enesco Classics. "We're very proud to be the catalyst for this
important endeavor, which will unite women and families nationwide."

Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO) and other charitable
organizations for their fundraising efforts. Enesco hopes to collect 2002
handcrafted 12" x 12" quilt squares, which can be dropped off at any of the 90

     Care-A-Van showcases most popular collection
The Precious Moments Care-A-Van offers visitors the opportunity to learn
about the Precious Moments collection, including how the figurines are
created, the story of how the collection began, and to witness the special
features that have captured the hearts of collectors nationwide. Visitors to
this year's Care-A-Van will also receive a pink ribbon from NABCO to show
 support of breast cancer awareness.
Enesco unveiled the Precious Moments collection in 1978, featuring 21
teardrop-eyed porcelain bisque figurines bearing inspirational messages.
Today, the collection includes more than 1,400 figurines, each one carrying a
sentiment or expression to capture or celebrate the special moments in life.

Special figurines to raise funds for NABCO
In addition to raising awareness of breast cancer through the Precious
Moments Pink Ribbon Quilt Collection and the Care-A-Van tour, Enesco is
raising money for NABCO from the sale of a special Precious Moments figurine,
"Life is Worth Fighting For." The figurine features a blonde girl wearing
boxing gloves with a pink ribbon, the symbol of breast cancer awareness,
sculpted on her shirt. A brunette version of this figurine will be available
in stores in September, just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in
 October.
Both figurines have a suggested retail price of $30 and are available at
participating Precious Moments authorized retailers nationwide. A portion of
the proceeds from the sale of each figurine is donated directly to NABCO.
