    DOWNINGTOWN, Pa., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- First Financial Bank is pleased
 to announce the addition of a Senior Vice President to its Investment Services
 and Trust Division.
     Thomas A. Varley, ChFC, has been hired as Senior Vice President of First
 Financial Bank's Investment Services and Trust Division.  Mr. Varley will be
 responsible for managing the Division and will be working with the current
 staff to continue to develop new business throughout Chester County, provide
 investment management and financial planning advice, and research and
 recommend new products and services.
     Mr. Varley has 25 years of Trust experience and has previously worked for
 Glenmede Trust Company, Meridian Asset Management and Mellon Private Asset
 Management, as well as Orange County Trust Company in Middletown, New York.
 He is a member of the Bars in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the United
 States Tax Court.  Mr. Varley is also a member of the Real Property, Probate
 and Trust Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Probate Section of
 the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Philadelphia Estate Planning
 Council.
     Mr. Varley received his A.B. degree in English from Bowdoin College and
 received his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law.  He received
 his ChFC in 1987 from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and
