    BOSTON, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- FitzGerald Communications Inc.(TM), a
high-technology communications agency and Inc. 500 company, today announced
the addition of technology agency veteran Craig Wood to the position of
Executive Vice President and General Manager in FitzGerald's New York office.
Other key additions to the management team include Brandee Barker, who has
joined the Los Angeles office as an Account Director; Randy Zane as an Account
Manager in New York; and Cherity Morrison, who has re-joined the firm as an
Account Manager based in San Francisco.
Before taking the helm for FitzGerald's New York office, Wood was the
managing director of Niehaus Ryan Wong New York. While there, Wood oversaw
the growth and management of San Francisco-based Niehaus Ryan Wong's New York
office where he established key relationships with clients such as Cognos and
ReefEdge. Prior to that he served as the COO of Saatchi & Saatchi's global
B2B network. Wood has brought significant communications counsel and brand
strategy to global organizations, most notably Nokia's US rollout and Kodak's
shift from the consumer "memories" brand to a digital imaging icon, leveraging
brand equity to garner market share and establish leadership in the face of
stiff international competition. Additional clients have included AOL and
Framework, a collaborative commerce software infrastructure company.
"We are delighted that Craig will be joining us," said Maura FitzGerald,
agency founder & CEO. "He brings to FitzGerald valuable expertise in two
critical areas -- managing global programs for complex technology clients and
delivering a notable breadth and depth of management experience to a growing
 organization."
Craig will lead a team in New York of experienced communications
professionals including Vice President Jennifer Schenberg and Account Managers
Randy Zane, Melanie Vigliotti and Beth Markowitz. Schenberg, Vigliotti and
Markowitz were recently promoted to their positions.
Prior to joining FitzGerald, Jennifer Schenberg was at Telsource
Corporation as Director of Marketing and Public Relations and Nabisco, Inc. as
Marketing Manager. She brings to FitzGerald a depth of experience in
strategic planning, branding and competitive positioning. Melanie Vigliotti
joined FitzGerald from Edelman Public Relations where she was responsible for
product launches, celebrity media events and promotions for Caltrate, Centrum
and Claritin. Beth Markowitz joined FitzGerald from the high-tech division of
Manning, Selvage and Lee and prior to that, worked for Ketchum's brand
marketing group. Finally, Randy Zane joined FitzGerald from CMP Media where
he served as Public Relations Manager for the Business Technology Group,
including PC Expo, the Financial Technology Network and the Educational
 Technology Network.
In addition, FitzGerald welcomes Account Director Brandee Barker to its
Los Angeles office and welcomes back Account Manager Cherity Morrison to its
San Francisco office. Barker joins FitzGerald from Stamps.com where she was
Director of Corporate Communications responsible for driving PR programs
through the company's IPO and previous to that worked at Oracle Corporation as
Director of Marketing. Morrison, a three-year veteran of FitzGerald, rejoins
the company after a brief stint as Public Relations Manager with Moai
Technologies, a San Francisco based software company.
