FlightSafetyBoeing Receives Certification on MD-82 Simulator at DFW

    SEATTLE, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- FlightSafety Boeing Training
 International (FSB) received FAA certification on its MD-82 full-flight
 simulator at FlightSafety International's DFW Training Center on the
 Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
     The MD-82 full-flight simulator is equipped with Global Flight Management
 System (GFMS) training capability and incorporates the VITAL visual system
 manufactured by FlightSafety International's Visual Simulation Systems
 Division.
     FSB's training network now offers two MD-82 full-flight simulators and a
 MD-80 within its worldwide fleet.  The second MD-82 is located at the
 company's Long Beach Airport Training Center and the MD-80 is located in
 Mexico City.
     With 21 locations, and 70 full-flight simulators, FSB is the world's
 largest and most comprehensive provider of airline training.  The independent
 company, co-owned by The Boeing Company and FlightSafety International,
 specializes in flight crew and maintenance technician training for airplanes
 of 100-seat capacity or more, including Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Airbus
