    CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Forest2Market today announced
that its timber pricing service application, developed by Shared Vision Group,
received the prestigious IBM Beacon Award for Best E-Business Solutions of the
Year. Additionally, F2M's technology platform will now provide satellite
imaging of timberland over the Internet.

F2M's application received the IBM honor for providing solutions that
 leverage the Internet to:

     * transform existing business processes into real-time, secure,
        integrated transaction systems
     * improve customer service and support
     * improve supply chain linkages and profitability to the forest products
        industry

Pete Stewart, President and CEO of Forest2Market, commented, "We are
thrilled this break-through technology has been recognized as a prized
application for customers. Shared Vision Group did an extraordinary job in
providing our customers with the competitive advantage necessary in today's
economy." Stewart added, "Providing our customers with innovative tools drove
the launch of our newest product, a satellite imaging capability to monitor
 thousands of acres of timberland."
F2M recently signed an agreement with Forest One; an Illinois-based
company that provides satellite technology for remote monitoring of timberland
so that any changes can be detected quickly. Clark Love, CEO Forest One
added, "We're excited our satellite imaging capability, F1.Guard, will now be
offered along with F2M's award-winning suite of technology solutions. Our
alliance will increase the efficiency of the forest products industry."
A growing number of major organizations, such as Hancock, Temple Inland,
Wachovia and Plum Creek have embraced F2M's award-winning application. F2M's
technology provides real-time timber pricing data and complex analytics.
There is an unprecedented amount of detail that help customers spot trends
that were previously impossible to recognize in a real-time mode. F2M's
customers represent over 15% of commercial timberland ownership in the U.S.
south, with over 2,000 transactions currently entered into the system.
"We regularly use F2M's data to assist in making timberland investment
decisions," noted Charlie Van Over, Director of Real Estate Transactions for
Forest Investment Associates, an Atlanta-based timberland investment
management firm. "We have found F2M tools a very useful part of our decision-
making process and feel they save both time and money," Van Over added.
