Fox Digital chose VorteXSports because it meets the network's requirements for

"We looked at many systems and vendors. Pinnacles Systems best understood
our workflow and customized their system to meet our needs," said
Tedd Rosenfeld, Vice President of Broadcast Operations at Fox Digital.
"Speed and efficiency drives production at Fox Digital," said Bob Wilson,
president of the Broadcast Solutions Division at Pinnacle Systems. "With
VorteXSports, an editor can quickly grab and play back clips from the network
storage system or the control room shot box. Clips are available to everyone
across the network at any time."
VorteXSports Highlight Editor adapts the VorteXNews Editor to a live
action sports-specific edit interface. Operators at Fox Sports will log up to
12 different incoming feeds from a fast, single button preset comments screen.
The logging stations work in tandem with Highlight Editor to accelerate the
process of locating and playing out clips, live-to-air. By simply marking a
shot or clip "hot," an operator brings it to the attention of the Highlight
 Editor.
