MCLEAN, Va., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Foxhunt Staffing, Inc., a leading
provider of contract and long-term technical staffing and executive recruiting
services, today announced the placement of Daniel LaBry as the new executive
director of the non-profit Washington Scholarship Fund (WSF). The WSF is one
of the oldest, largest and most successful programs of its kind in the country
providing some 1,400 four-year scholarships to children of low-income families
in the District of Columbia annually. LaBry was the former senior vice
president of the Challenger Center, a non-profit organization in the nation's
capital dedicated to teaching children about space through innovative learning
 experiences.
"LaBry embodies all of the characteristics the WSF was looking for," said
Jeff Rozner, manager of the retained search practice at Foxhunt Staffing's new
office at 8201 Greensboro Drive, Suite 613, in McLean, Virginia. "They wanted
candidates with a personable nature, a team-oriented approach and a successful
record of accomplishments. LaBry's personality, character and track record at
the Challenger Center made him an ideal finalist and contributed to his
 acceptance."
The search, which was to cover an eight-week period, was completed in less
than five weeks by Rozner, who led a team of three recruiters. The team
focused their search activities on identifying a list of eight possible
candidates and then reducing this number to four finalists. The blue-ribbon
group of candidates included a former U.S. Senator, a graduate of the Wharton
Business School and even an Olympic gold medallist.
In a letter, Joseph E. Robert, Jr, chairman of the WSF, thanked Rozner and
Foxhunt Staffing, stating: "... I speak for all of us here at WSF when I say
how impressed we were with each of your candidates. Your recommendations
provided a wealth (and breadth!) of qualified applicants and ultimately led us
 to an ideal fit..."
