GEMI Celebrates Earth Day 2001 with CD-ROM Gift to the World

    WASHINGTON, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its celebration of Earth
 Day 2001 the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) today released
 its 10th Anniversary CD-ROM: "GEMI Reports & Publications: A Decade of EH&S
 Tools."  The CD-ROM contains all of GEMI's publications and reports developed
 in the years 1990-2000.  The CD-ROM is available free of charge upon request.
     "The 38 member companies of GEMI are pleased to announce that their gift
 to the world for Earth Day 2001 is a CD-ROM compilation of the reports and
 benchmarking efforts over the past decade," said Carol Cala, Director, HSE
 Consumer Imaging, Eastman Kodak Company, Chair of GEMI's Communication and
 Marketing Committee.

     The CD-ROM contains sixteen GEMI publications and several benchmarking
 surveys on issues including:  Interaction with the Corporate Board of
 Directors; Business EHS Cost Accounting Practices; Community Outreach;
 Information Management System; IMS Web-based Technologies; and Sustainability.
