GlideTV Announces New CEO

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- GlideTV, Inc., makers of The Navigator, announced today that Scott Vouri has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

"Scott has the perfect combination of business, marketing and technical expertise in consumer technology to lead our company," said company founder, chairman and acting CEO Mike Machado, "his experience in leading companies in various stages of corporate growth, from startup to multi-national, will be invaluable to GlideTV."

Mr. Vouri has led Silicon Valley companies in executive, engineering and marketing roles for more than twenty years. He most recently was a strategic management and marketing consultant for startups in the digital home, ecommerce and wireless equipment markets. Prior to that, Scott was general manager of the multimedia division at Nvidia Corporation, where he led the team that captured the lion's share of the market in high definition video processors for PCs and notebooks and drove the company's digital home business. Prior to Nvidia, Mr. Vouri ran the graphics card business unit at Diamond Multimedia, overseeing engineering and marketing while growing the company into the industry leader in revenue and brand recognition. Before Diamond, Scott was founder and CEO of Binar Graphics, which specialized in computer graphics and video software for PC OEMs worldwide.

Mr. Vouri will be joining GlideTV at its new company headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
