Global MAINTECH Corp. Announces New Auditing Firm

Apr 23, 2001, 01:00 ET from Global MAINTECH Corp.

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive Press Release/ -- Today
Global MAINTECH Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: GBMT) announced, in conjunction
with the company's reorganization, the company engaged Feldman, Sherb and
Company, P.C. as its independent auditing accountant on March 10, 2001.
Wildcat Management, with its principal Dale Ragan as CEO, states after
interviewing several accounting firms, "We are very fortunate to have a New
York firm of this caliber as our independent auditor." The CEO also states
that the company has made a decision to conduct the audit after the April 15th
extension deadline. With the schedules of all auditing firms so full, it was
the best interest of the company to wait until after April 15th. This will
not only save the company the cost of doing the audit, but will also give the
company more time to do a thorough audit. In conjunction with the
reorganization of the company, the deadline for noncompliance is May 15th,
which will give the company the necessary extra time for a thorough audit so
the company will have a clean statement going forward. First quarter 2001
will follow 2000 year end reporting.

Global MAINTECH's Virtual Command Center ("VCC") is a turnkey solution to
today's complex and increasingly distributed computing environments. The VCC
consolidates information from multiple disparate computer platforms in one or
more locations without the necessity for agent software -- presenting
operations with a single point of control for the entire enterprise. The VCC
is the only product in the world that provides this function without the need
for agent software or the associated distribution process. It uses a variety
of proprietary interfaces (Global MAINTECH holds several patents for its
interface equipment) to allow a single point-of-control for managing.

Global MAINTECH's Lavenir Division is a global leader in the printed
circuit board industry. For over fifteen years, Lavenir has been providing
innovative CAM and TEST software and state of the art raster photoplotters.
Printed circuit board manufacturers worldwide rely on technology and products
developed by Lavenir Technology to automate the board manufacturing process.

harbor" provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
Investors are cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risk and
uncertainties, including without limitations, continued use of the Company's
