Global ReLeaf of Michigan Seeks Community Groups to Plant Trees

    ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Global ReLeaf of Michigan, Inc.,
 a state-wide, non-profit volunteer tree planting group, seeks neighborhood
 organizations throughout Michigan interested in planting trees on public
 property in their communities.  Global ReLeaf volunteers work with the
 community group to plan the event, arrange for the purchase and delivery of
 the trees and provide technical assistance on the day of planting.  The
 community group supplies the volunteers to plant the trees.  Plantings are
 done on a cost sharing basis with Global ReLeaf of Michigan matching up to 50%
 of the cost of the trees or $1,000.
     Global ReLeaf emphasizes planting trees in areas with heavy resident use
 and little tree cover, such as playgrounds, parks, schoolyards and roadways.
     Neighborhood Tree Planting Applications must be submitted by April 15,
