MILFORD, Mass., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- GROUP Technologies of Karlsruhe,
Germany, the parent company of GROUP Software, USA and Trend Micro of
UnterschleiBheim, Germany have entered into a technology partnership that will
allow Trend Micro's anti-virus technology to be fully integrated into GROUP
Technologies securiQ Suite product line. GROUP Technologies and GROUP
Software are leading providers of the securiQ Suite family of content security
software for the Lotus Notes/Domino and Microsoft Exchange messaging
 platforms.
"The collaborative efforts of the two companies will result in an
optimized anti-virus protection solution for our securiQ Suite customers,"
said Amy Kessler, GROUP Software's vice president and general manager. "The
securiQ Suite together with the Trend Micro anti-virus technologies will
identify and locate e-mail viruses and remove them before the relevant e-mail
attachment can be opened by the user. This combination of technologies
provides our customers with the highest level of protection that e-security
 can offer."
securiQ Suite customers will benefit from an extended range of anti-virus

Suite form the basis for using the extensive functions provided by Trend Micro
anti-virus technologies. All of the individual modules in GROUP Technologies
securiQ Suite product line will work together in a seamless fashion with Trend
Micro's anti-virus technology via an interface set up by Trend Micro (Virus
