 Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. (NYSE:   TMM and TMM/A), the largest Latin American

 a conference call following the release of financial results for the first
 quarter ended March 31, 2001.  The company will release earnings after the
 market closes on Monday, April 30, 2001.  Javier Segovia, Grupo TMM's

 analyst presentation on Wednesday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
 The delay between the release of earnings and the conference call is due to
 fact that the Bolsa Exchange is closed for the May Day holiday on Tuesday,
 May 1.
