Harris Bank Lowers Harris Small Business Lending Rate to 7.0 Percent

    CHICAGO, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Harris Bank and
 its 25 Chicagoland community banks have lowered the Harris Small Business
 Lending Rate to 7.0 percent from 7.5 percent, effective April 20, 2001.
     The Harris Small Business Lending Rate, introduced by Harris in early
 1994, is, in effect, Harris' prime rate for small business, and tracks
 one-half percent below the Wall Street Journal Prime.
