Havas Advertising Acquires McKinney & Silver; Raleigh, North Carolina Advertising Agency to Join Global Network

 Havas Advertising, (Nasdaq:   HADV, Euronext Paris HAV.PA), the world's fourth
 largest communications group, announced today that it has acquired McKinney
 & Silver, a $350 million agency based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The agency
 was previously owned by marchFIRST and will be a separate entity within Havas
 Advertising's Arnold Worldwide Partners division reporting to Chairman and CEO
 Ed Eskandarian.  Terms of the acquisition were not announced.
