iaedp Announces Three Distinctive Scholarships for its 28th Annual iaedp Symposium

PEKIN, Ill., Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Foundation is proud to announce three scholarship opportunities for the 2014 iaedp Symposium, taking place February 27- March 2 at the Trade Winds Island Resort on St. Pete Beach, Florida. The 28th annual Symposium will feature pre-certification courses, keynote speakers and interactive workshops.

Intended for first-time attendees or ieadp members with financial need, scholarships are awarded from November 18, 2013 through January 6, 2014. The Financial Aid Scholarships (ten awarded) cover a majority of the symposium registration fees while the Dick Wilson Scholarship Fund covers the cost of one full symposium registration, (but not additional costs, i.e. preconference sessions or travel expenses).  The Christina Hartline Scholarship covers all registration fees and includes $1,000 to offset transportation and hotel expenses.

Wilson, PhD; Joan Borysenko, Ph.D.; and Carolyn Costin, MEd, MFT, CEDS. Plus, due to its extreme popularity, iaedp will once again offer its precertification courses onsite at the Symposium.
