Iceland to Make NYC Debut at Brooklyn Academy of Music April 20 & 21

Marc Anthony Thompson (Chocolate Genius) to host a series of performances in

the NYC area; Including a benefit for Camp Friendship

    NEW YORK, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- "Iceland," which premiered at the
 Chicago Museum of Fine Art in October, is the follow up collaboration of Roger
 Smith and Marc Anthony Thompson's -- "A Huey P. Newton Story." The duo did
 extensive research in preparing this fictional/factual tale of love and
 volcanoes including a two week residency in the capital city of Reykjavik.
 Their previous Obie winning effort, "A Huey P. Newton Story," was recently
 captured by Spike Lee for release later this year. "Iceland" has its New York
 debut on April 20th and 21st at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
