Infonautics Responds to Nasdaq Notice

    KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., April 10 /PRNewswire/ --
 Infonautics, Inc. (Nasdaq: INFO) today announced that it has filed an appeal
 of a Nasdaq Staff Determination to remove the Company's listing on the
 SmallCap Market for failure to maintain a minimum bid price of $1.00 for 30
 consecutive trading days as required by Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(8)(B).
     The Company has requested an oral hearing before a Nasdaq Listing
 Qualifications Panel to review the Staff Determination.  The Company will
 continue to trade under the symbol INFO on the SmallCap Market pending the
 outcome of these proceedings.  In the event the Company's request for
 continued listing on the SmallCap Market is not granted, the Company's
 securities would then be eligible for quotation on the NASD's OTC Bulletin
 Board or another over-the-counter quotation system.
