Interline Resources Names New President

Apr 23, 2001, 01:00 ET from Interline Resources Corporation

ALPINE, Utah, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Interline
Resources Corporation ("Interline") (OTC Bulletin Board: IRCE) announced today
that Brice E. Bergquist has joined Interline as President and Chief Operating
Officer of Interline Resources Corporation. He will additionally assume the
position of President and CEO of Interline Energy Services (Interlines oil and
gas division), and Executive Vice-President of Interline Hydrocarbons
 (Interlines used oil re-refining division).
Mr. Bergquist comes to Interline following 20 years with Questar
Corporation where he was employed in operations, regulatory affairs, gas
supply, marketing, and administration and business development. Mr. Bergquist
was instrumental in Questar's decision to enter the mid-stream segment of the
natural gas industry. While serving as Director of Business Development for
Questar's interstate pipeline subsidiary he chaired the committee that
recommended the spin-down of Questar's gas gathering assets to an unregulated
subsidiary. On receipt of regulatory approval for the spin-down in 1996,
Mr. Bergquist assumed responsibility for marketing, commercial administration
and business development for Questar Gas Management Company, Questar's gas
gathering and processing subsidiary. Under his direction, Questar increased
the quantity of gas gathered and processed by the company from approximately
120 million cubic feet per/day (MMcfd) to more than 430 (MMcfd) and
 significantly increased its profitability.
Prior to being assigned to Questar Gas Management, Mr. Bergquist was
instrumental in developing a gas processing partnership between Coastal
Corporation and Questar. Mr. Bergquist served as project manager for the
construction of the Blacks Fork Gas Plant, an 84 (MMcfd) cryogenic processing
facility in SW Wyoming completed in 1995 and was instrumental in the
development of the Vermilion Gas Plant, a 43 (MMcfd) plant constructed in
1997. Mr. Bergquist has been active in the Rocky Mountain Natural Gas
Association, Houston Natural Gas Association and the Gas Processors
Association. Said Mr. Bergquist, "There are great opportunities available to
Interline today. The company is undertaking, and will soon announce, some
exciting new projects designed to exploit its core competencies and introduce
Interline into new and profitable market areas. The growth opportunities for
this company have never been better or more readily achievable. I am
enthusiastic about Interline's future and am pleased to be a part of the
 company."
Mike Williams will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Interline
Resources. "We are pleased that Mr. Bergquist has chosen to join our
management team and we look forward to working with him."
