TransMedia said its public relations activities will focus on her International Holistic Center ( in which she is the CEO, its related non-profit, the Women's International Holistic Council (WIHC), its women's division "Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™"  (, and her book, "Dr. King's Simple Guide to Holistic Health: Lessons Learned from my Personal Journey."

TransMedia's efforts will highlight the adversity that Dr. King has overcome, which dates back to her childhood. Media pitching will show that Dr. King comes to holistic health from a place of knowledge, understanding and compassion, which helps bring these critical qualifications to her life's work. At the young age of three, Dr. King contracted polio in the Dominican Republic and since that young age, has undergone 36 surgeries and many extensive periods of recovery. The campaign will showcase how Dr. King has never let anything stop her from achieving her professional or personal goals or slow her down in her mission to empower and educate others, despite these potential setbacks.
