    COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Intimate Brands, Inc. (NYSE:   IBI)
 reported a comparable store sales decrease of 9% for the five weeks ended
 April 7, 2001 compared to the five weeks ended April 8, 2000.  Net sales were
 $366.1 million, flat compared to sales of $366.7 million for the five-week
 period ended April 1, 2000.
     Comparable store sales decreased 7% for the nine weeks ended April 7, 2001
 compared to the nine weeks ended April 8, 2000.  Net sales of $704.2 million
 decreased 1% compared to sales of $711.5 million for the nine-week period
 ended April 1, 2000.
