NEWTON, Mass., Aug. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce the finalists for its inaugural Corporate Philanthropy Award as part of the 2015 Community Leadership Awards. Now in its ninth year, the Community Leadership Awards program recognizes the philanthropic achievements of financial advisors and financial services firms in communities across the country and around the world.
Invest in Others launched the Corporate Philanthropy Award this year to recognize the importance of encouraging philanthropy at a corporate level. The award will be presented to a financial services company that has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to encouraging philanthropic activities amongst its employees, financial advisors, and senior leaders.

Invest in Others received dozens of nominations this year from financial services firms across the country. Finalists were selected based on their contribution, community impact, inspiration, and incentives to encourage their employees to give back.
The 2015 Corporate Philanthropy Award finalists are:

The award will be presented at the annual Invest in Others Community Leadership Awards Gala, a premier event attended by over 400 financial advisors and financial services executives, on September 30, 2015 in New York City. The winner will receive a $2,500 donation from Invest in Others to a charity of their choice. In addition, five categories of awards will be presented to individual financial advisors in recognition of their philanthropic contributions.
