A GIA Graduate Gemologist and jewelry specialist, Emily Marchick brings more than a decade of auction, appraisal, wholesale and retail experience in jewelry to Doyle's expanding markets.

Before joining Doyle, Ms. Marchick was the Director of California Jewels at auctioneers Bonhams and Butterfield in Los Angeles and San Francisco. There she specialized in jewelry consignments, business development, appraisals, cataloguing and client relations.
Prior to Bonhams, she worked as a diamond consultant for the Shane Company, the largest privately owned jeweler in the United States, and in the diamond wholesale industry in downtown Los Angeles.
She graduated from The College of Santa Fe with a BA in Art History and Studio Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California, with a certification in Graduate Gemology.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms. Marchick is a seventh generation Californian with a familiarity and passion for the West Coast. Along with her specialization in jewelry, she has experience and education in the categories of fine and contemporary art, rare books, prints, silver, luxury handbags and other specialty items.
Doyle's specialists are currently evaluating jewelry and fine watches for the next auction in Beverly Hills on November 16. The public is invited to a special preview of the sale on October 2-3 at the Paley Center for Media located 465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Also on view will be Important Jewelry from the October 21 New York auction.
The upcoming sale follows Doyle's successful Inaugural West Coast Auction of Fine Jewelry, which took place in Beverly Hills last May.
