Johnson Outdoors Inc. Acquires Canoe Sports NZ Business

    RACINE, Wis., April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Outdoors Inc.
 (Nasdaq:   JOUT) announced the acquisition of Fibrekraft Manufacturers Ltd., a
 manufacturer of paddles and watercraft accessories based in Napier, New
 Zealand.  Johnson Outdoors will fold Fibrekraft into its New Zealand
 subsidiary.  Fibrekraft, primarily under its brand Canoe Sports, is recognized
 as a leader in the design and production of high-quality paddles, helmets and
 other paddle sport accessories.  Helen Johnson-Leipold, Chairman and Chief
