CHICAGO and DEKALB, Ill., Aug. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- KishHealth System signed the definitive agreement to join Northwestern Medicine. The agreement was approved by the governing boards of KishHealth System and Northwestern Memorial HealthCare subject to regulatory approval.

With this proposed expansion, Northwestern Medicine will grow to more than 90 locations, including six hospitals. Care will be provided by a combined workforce of 26,500 employees and physicians, spanning eight Illinois counties.
