    PHOENIX, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- KnowledgeNet.com, Inc., a leader in next
generation e-learning, today announced that it has entered into a partnership
with NETEC, a Mexico City-based training center and Cisco Learning Provider
(CLP), to offer condensed replay versions of its live, instructor-led Cisco
courses in Spanish. NETEC will distribute the localized KnowledgeNet(R)
EXPRESS courseware to its Spanish-language clients, marking the first time
that localized technical training has been delivered in Mexico via the
 Internet.
"We are pleased to utilize our status as a CLP to help make KnowledgeNet's
award-winning e-learning content available in Spanish for the first time,"
said NETEC General Director Jorge Cisneros Mena. "Through this collaboration,
we look forward to enhancing the level of Cisco training currently available
 in Latin America."

Rapid Localization Through Open Learning Architecture and Monsoon
KnowledgeNet's capability to rapidly digitize Cisco content into Spanish
is rooted in its proprietary engine, Monsoon(TM), which provides advanced
development, delivery and management/administration capabilities. Monsoon is
based on an extensible, open design philosophy for future product development.
This Open Learning Architecture(TM) serves as a framework for supporting key
e-learning content standards and integrating third-party technology. Monsoon
leverages reusable learning objects, which enable the company to take the
smallest component of learning, and reconfigure it in virtually limitless
 ways.
"The ability to quickly and seamlessly digitize our Cisco content into
Spanish is yet another example of how KnowledgeNet is able to leverage its
open systems framework and Monsoon delivery platform to deliver multimedia
rich content in a variety of formats," said KnowledgeNet Chief Operating
Officer Mark Rukavina. "Working with NETEC, we've been able to accomplish in
weeks what is normally a three-to-six month process for most other companies
 lacking our technical innovation."

     Strength of Cisco Relationship
In addition to being the first authorized CLSP-D to provide Spanish
language e-learning content in its EXPRESS format, Cisco is currently using
 KnowledgeNet's LIVE (instructor-led) and INTERACTIVE (self-paced) e-learning
solutions to train more than 40,000 channel partners and 5,000 internal
systems engineers on Cisco CCNA, CCDP, and CCIE technology. Apart from using
KnowledgeNet's e-learning solutions to train its employees and partners, Cisco
also participated as the lead investor in KnowledgeNet's most recent
$30 million round of funding in October 2000.
