NEW YORK, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- kpe, the leading digital partner for
media and entertainment companies, was awarded the highest honor this week in
ADWEEK magazine's inaugural Annual Interactive Agency Report Cards Issue with
an "A" in all categories. The issue, dated April 9th, graded 22 U.S.
Interactive Agencies and no agency came out with a higher overall grade.
"I am truly honored and proud that the efforts of everyone at kpe and the
outstanding creative work we are doing for our clients is being recognized by
the editors of ADWEEK", said Mark Patricof, founder and CEO of kpe. "I have
always felt that we have retained the most talented staff and stayed true
being a strategic partner in our media and entertainment clients' vision and
success. This exceptional honor is testament to our work ethic and core
beliefs over the last five years."
Agencies were graded in four categories: numbers, creative, technology and
management, with the overall final grade being decided by the ADWEEK IQ staff.
kpe was one of only two agencies graded to receive the coveted overall grade
of "A." To be eligible for this issue, agencies had to be headquartered in the
United States, have over $10 million in revenue in 2000, and primarily
involved in creating a Web site's user experience.

The following are excerpts according to ADWEEK's IQ editors, from this
weeks' Interactive Agency Report Card issue :

     * "kpe sticks primarily with media and entertainment work and its focus
shows ... . Its work for sites ... are by turns spunky and
        spellbinding, but always eye-catching."

     * "kpe is led by the dynamic Mark Patricof, who added about 150 employees
to his staff last year ... "

     * "(kpe) ... has partnered with numerous technology companies ... to
provide the best in online tools"

     * "With a vision and a focus, kpe is one of the more exciting i-shops in
Silicon Alley. However, it's also one of the most thoughtful: In March,
kpe launched a series of research reports focusing on digital media
        issues.."

According to the ADWEEK editors, "Instead of simply performing a straight
average of the grades, the overall grade takes into account outside factors
that did not fit into the existing categories. Ultimately, the interactive
agencies' final scores were ones that the IQ staff felt the agencies earned."
The ADWEEK "IQ Interactive Agency Report Cards" issue is available on
newsstands this week. More details and the complete article with all 22
agencies graded can be found online:
