 company, has appointed Dr. Leo A. Paquette to its Scientific Advisory Board.
 "Professor Paquette is an internationally-known leader in synthetic

     Dr. Paquette is distinguished university professor, The Ohio State
 University, Columbus, OH.  He has over 1100 research publications, 38 book
 chapters, 17 edited book volumes, one encyclopedia and 40 patents to his
 credit.  More than 110 students have received a Ph.D. degree under his
 direction and over 250 postdoctoral fellows have worked in his laboratories.
 Many of these people occupy positions in the pharmaceutical industry.
     Professor Paquette began his career at The Upjohn Company where he worked
 from 1959-1963.  From there, Paquette joined the faculty of The Ohio State
 University where he was promoted to associate professor in 1966 and full
 professor in 1969.  Paquette held the title of Kimberly Professor from 1981-
 1987 and was promoted to distinguished university professor in 1987.  He has
 held visiting faculty positions at Michigan State University, the University
 of Iowa, the University of Colorado, Groningen University, the University of
 California in Santa Barbara, Texas A&M, Northwestern University, University of
 Heidelberg, University of Paris and the University of Freiburg.
     Paquette's honors include Alfred P. Sloan Fellow, Outstanding Young Man of
